SIA ARQUITECTURA: AMAG PT 06. SIA ARQUITECTURA

AMAG PT 06 features the work of SIA ARCHITECTURE. Founded in 2010 Ana Cravinho, Inês Cordovil and Sofia Pinto Basto have been working together since 2000. They collaborated with architects Alberto de Sousa Oliveira and Manuel Aires Mateus, beginning to build a common language. In 2007 they created SIA arquitectura. Current projects include single-family homes, residential buildings, public buildings, small-scale interventions, commercial and scenic spaces. Their professional practice is based on rehabilitation and attention to the uniqueness of each circumstance. From this research, they preserve the idea that small interventions amplify and transform reality. The work they produce represents collective thinking, in collaboration with other architects, with whom they have had a close relationship since their foundation. The project emerges from this collaboration. Not as a medium, but as amplification.
