Naos Libros opened on 13 February 1978, in the centre of Madrid. It specialises in books on architecture, construction, urban planning, landscaping, gardening, design, painting, philosophy and topics related to these subjects. We also have other sections, such as essays, general literature and children’s literature.
We try to select books for their quality, importance and reference-value from among the bibliography existing in these areas. Over the years, we have amassed a bibliographical collection of 120,000 titles, of which 70,000 are dedicated to our speciality and 27,000 are on our shelves. You will be assisted by qualified staff who will try to help you in your searches in an effort to be the place for all those who love books.
We would like to thank architects, teachers, students, professionals, librarians and our friends for their cooperation over the years in making Naos a meeting place, making books our landscape and helping us to create Naos.
