Purchasing and Shipping Terms:

The prices that appear in the on-line catalogue include VAT, both for books and videos, journals and magazines.
The prices of the books, as provided for in article 9 of Law 10/2007, of 22 June, on Reading, Books and Libraries, are set by the publishers. In exceptional circumstances, they may vary slightly without prior warning but the price change will always be justified by a notice from the publisher.
NAOS LIBROS imports most of the foreign books listed in its catalogue straight from the publisher. In this case, as well as any changes made by the publisher, fluctuations in the original currency, transport costs, etc. may alter the final price of a book that was not in stock. Customers will always be informed of these changes before their order is confirmed.
Librería NAOS accepts no responsibility for any charges made for taxes, customs clearance and customs duties. These must be paid in cash by the customer on receipt of the merchandise.

General considerations when placing an order:
The fact that a product is listed on our website does not mean that it is available in real-time in our warehouses and bookshop. We do not guarantee the complete availability of the stock of products advertised on the website.
Although the information on the availability of books matches reality quite closely, it is not always accurate.
When an order is placed, if its status is shown as “Stock in bookshop”, this means that it is immediately available for sale as there are copies in the bookshop. The other statuses for a book will appear on the same page indicating how long it will take for us to receive it. The arrival dates for books that are not in stock are approximate, based on our previous experience with the different suppliers, so they are merely indicative. Under no circumstances do the above arrival dates constitute a commitment by the bookshop to ship on those dates.
If you have ordered some articles and one or more of them is not in stock, you have two options: If you prefer, we can send you the ones that are currently in stock, at a cost of 6.00/9.00 euros (depending on the method of payment chosen). We will then send a second parcel to you at a cost of 4.00/6.00 euros when we receive the other items. Or, if you prefer, you can receive everything at the same time, when all the items are in stock, and the shipping cost will be as shown on the website.

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday, during the 24 hours following their receipt. Orders that are received on Fridays after 1:00 p.m. or on weekends will be processed starting on the following Monday. Any closure for holidays (if this occurs) will be specified, or if for any reason sales on the virtual shop need to be suspended.
While the order is being processed, the customer will be informed of the status of the order and of any incidents that might occur.
If delivery does not occur within the estimated time frame, let us know (by phone, e-mail or fax) so that the appropriate complaint can be sent to the shipping company. It should be noted that couriers do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Under no circumstances will failure to comply with the estimated time frames justify the refunding of the shipping costs.

Shipping costs, methods of payment and delivery times:
Orders shipped to Spain and Portugal:
NAOS LIBROS normally uses courier services for shipping. In each case, we have selected the best available offer and therefore have established companies that offer the best conditions, with the most economical rates, unbeatable delivery times and the possibility of tracking the status of a shipment.
However, under exceptional circumstances, if the customer wishes to have an order shipped to a post office box, the post office’s “Paquete Azul” (literally, Blue Package) parcel service will be used, and payment must be made by VISA card. The shipping costs to be paid will be the same as those for a package sent by courier.
Payments by VISA CREDIT Card and Mastercard: To collect payment for the order, the card number, expiry date and security code will be requested. The security of the data provided is guaranteed using standard SSL encryption protocols. Remember that all the data you send through this form are protected by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption system. This system encrypts the data so that, if someone manages to get hold of them during the data transmission process, they cannot read them as they do not have the necessary key. We do not store card data.

Payments by Bank Transfer: When placing an order, on activating the Bank Transfer option, the account number will be provided to which the transfer or deposit can be made. The customer is responsible for any bank commissions charged for transfers, should they exist.
Customers must pay the shipping costs summarised below by weight and country:

Shipping with Postlibris uses the national and international network of post offices. Parcels are not registered and, if in exceptional circumstances the package is not delivered or is not picked up by the customer, no refund will be made until the package has been returned to us by the post office.
You can see that you are on a secure server when Netscape displays a key in the bottom left-hand corner of your browser or Internet Explorer displays a padlock in the bottom right-hand corner. You can also see that the URL has changed from http to https.
If you wish, you can send this information to us over the phone or by e-mailing naos@naoslibros.es .  Your card will only be charged when the order is ready for handing over to the shipping company and the amount will correspond only to the articles that are sent out. Electron and wallet cards are not accepted as a method of payment.
Shipments to Portugal can only be paid with a VISA CREDIT card and the cash on delivery option is not available.

Delivery Times: Deliveries shipped to Peninsular Spain and Portugal are by courier and have an estimated delivery time of 1 to 3 days, provided the titles ordered are in stock.
Shipments to: Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla use the post office “Paquete Azul” or “Postlibris” services. The latter is only used for packages under 2 Kilos and the estimated delivery time is 5 to 10 days. For customers who wish to receive their order by courier, the delivery time will be from 2 to 5 days and the shipping charge will be sent to them by e-mail or over the phone.
If, for reasons not attributable to NAOS, a shipment is returned to us, we will contact the customer to find out why it has been returned. If this occurs twice with the same customer, this user will be immediately deleted from our system and no future shipments will be possible.
Orders to destinations outside Spain:
This type of shipment will only be permitted if paid for with a VISA CREDIT card, Mastercard or Virtual POS. It will be sent as detailed in the following table, which summarises the shipping costs and delivery times to the different countries.
Customers must pay the shipping costs summarised below by weight and country:

(*): For Mexico and South America there is a cheaper rate of €18.00 for up to 2 kilos that uses “Postlibris” book post, with an estimated delivery time of 10 to 20 days. The rates can be seen when placing the order.
Customers who have their own courier service or an account with a shipping agency can arrange for their package to be picked up from us and no “shipping charges” will be charged.
Credit cards and Virtual POS will be charged in euros.
NAOS will not be held responsible for any delays or charges due to customs handling that may arise in some countries. In this case, it is the purchaser who is responsible for carrying out the formalities required by the government of that country and for paying the corresponding duties, should they exist. NAOS will cooperate with its customers as far as possible, informing them of this circumstance when it becomes aware of it.
There are some countries, such as China, Japan, Korea, India, Madagascar and Argentina, to which shipments are made by post rather than by courier, as our shipping company does not cover these countries because of problems with customs there, but they will provide the corresponding locators.
Delivery dates are calculated in business days - from Monday to Friday - as we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
Questions and delivery incidents:
If your order does not arrive by the estimated delivery date, you can contact us at naos@naoslibros.es or on (+34) 91 559 5292. We will immediately contact our shipping agency or the post office and report back to you on your incident either by e-mail or phone. The post office does not permit complaints until one month after delivery, provided the package was registered.

Returns
Only defective books and incorrect shipments may be returned. In this case, it will be NAOS that covers the cost of return shipping, provided the customer notifies us of this circumstance.
To make a return, first send us an e-mail to the following address: naos@naoslibros.es  or phone us on (+34) 91 547 3916.
If you wish to cancel an order, you can do so, provided we have not already shipped it. If it has already been shipped, you must wait until you receive it and then return it in perfect condition. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Imported books cannot be exchanged once 24 hours has passed after the order date; only those with a defect inside
