This volume, "Houses," is the third in the series to feature Takamasa Yoshizaka's work. Among Yoshizaka's residential works, selected works that embody his philosophy of "discontinuous unity" and feature distinctive and experimental attempts throughout are introduced through blueprints and photographs. The residential works included in this volume include his own house, as well as the Ura House, Villa Kuku, Maruyama House, Higuchi House, and Misawa House, and were designed at different times. These will be extremely valuable resources that provide a glimpse into the underlying ideas and the changes in the approaches and methods used in design.
