INFRAESTRUCTURAS VERDES/ CAMBIO CLIMATICO/ DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE

La publicación plantea la interacción de las infraestructuras verdes, como Soluciones Basadas en la Naturaleza, con el cambio climático para lograr un desarrollo sostenible. Como corresponde a los temas abordados, el enfoque es muy amplio, con autores multidisciplinares (botánicos, arquitectos, agrónomos, sociólogos, economistas, entre otros) que hacen exposiciones heterogéneas en amplitud y objetivos. Es la escena del mundo real. El libro, de 296 páginas, se estructura en tres partes. La primera recoge la multifuncionalidad de las infraestructuras verdes, que muestran su utilidad en varios escenarios (capítulos 1 al 9), la segunda expone casos específicos de temas o proyectos desarrollados en ciudades determinadas (capítulos 10 al 17). Finalmente, un área internacional (capítulos 18 al 22) y una relación de instituciones internacionales relacionadas con infraestructuras verdes. La variedad y complejidad de los problemas que nos afectan en estas áreas hace que el público objetivo sea también muy diverso. Esperamos que esta obra estimule la interacción entre todos los actores involucrados en la mejora del Planeta Tierra y nuestro entorno local. The publication discusses the interaction of green infrastructures, such as Nature Based Solutions, with climate change to achieve sustainable development. As befits the topics addressed, the approach is very broad, with multidisciplinary authors (botanists, architects, agronomists, sociologists, economists, among others) who make heterogeneous presentations in breadth and objectives. It's the real-world scene. The 296 page book is divided into three parts. The first one covers the multifunctionality of green infrastructures, which shows its usefulness in several scenarios (chapters 1 to 9), the second presents specific cases of themes or projects developed in specific cities (chapters 10 to 17). Finally, an international area (chapters 18 to 22) and a list of international institutions related to green infrastructures. The variety and complexity of the issues that affect us in these areas means that the target audience is also very diverse. We hope that this work stimulates interaction between all the actors involved in the improvement of Planet Earth and our local environment.
