Playing off the Academy's Victorian architecture and academic traditions, in which students copy works of art, Harvey literally held a mirror up to the Victorian Gothic architecture of the building, copying the image of the interior stair hall as a nearly life size reverse engraving on mirror. The results of this ambitious site-specific piece are documented here and accompanied by a short survey of other works by the artist since 1998.
