'By chance I dared to work for Havel on re-designing his flat. By chance I was contacted by Paul Koch. By chance we selected Frank Gehry. By chance the situation after the revolution was especially favourable. It was a rare coincidence of chances, and equally rare is that it worked out. This is Milunics account of the making of the trade-restaurant-offices-training-and-conference-centre now called the Dancing Building in Prague. Completed in 1996, the building was highly praised by the international architectural community but initially less well received in its local community.
