The aim of the Athena project is the development of a common strategy in the Mediterranean Basin for the management of ancient theatres that can be considered as the startintg point for the achievement of social, cultural and economic development. Within this project, the task of WP4 is the development of a managerial tool aimed at improving the general condition of a site in accordance with the concepts established by the most recent prescription by UNESCO, the Verona and Syracuse Charters and the Segesta Declaration.
