BAUR: INTEGRAL

Ruedi Baur has chosen seven concepts to describe his conceptual approach: anticipate, question, identify, contextualize, perplex, inscribe, and translate. They serve as the structure of his book and the basis for seven dialogues between him and conversation partners from various disciplines. The practical implementation of these concepts is presented using projects from his Integral studio in Zurich und Paris, arranged in turn according to the concepts adequate, colorless, and transparent. Previously unpublished new projects are integrated thematically into the evolution of Baurs oeuvre. The book thus reveals a conceptual and design constant, or even fascination, in the work of Ruedi Baur. Five years after the success of Ruedi Baur, Integral et associés, the author takes stock and manifests the principles of his design work and attitude. Ils servent de structure au livre et de base aux sept dialogues entre lui et ses interlocuteurs venus de divers horizons. La transposition concrète de ces concepts est présentée à Zurich et à Paris où différents projets en provenance de son Atelier Intégral, s'organisent autour de notions telles que adéquat, incolore ou transparent. De nouveaux projets, non encore publiés, sont intégrés, en fonction de leur sujet, à la suite de son úuvre. Cet ouvrage dénote ainsi une constante de conception et de création ainsi qu'une fascination pour ses realisations. Cinq ans après le succès de Ruedi Baur, Integral et associés, l'auteur établit un bilan et expose les bases de son travail de créateur.
