These two books, sold exclusively together in a box, are the result of the TERRA INGOGNITA project, which had the support of the European Union CULTURA 2000 programme.
They present a wide-ranging view of Earth Architecture in Europe, plus its conservation and maintenance techniques.
They contribute to the recognition of a deeply rooted construction technique and culture that is relatively unknown to the public in general.
Five European universities participated in the project and elaborated its content:
CRATerre - École Nationale Superieur d'Architcture de Grenoble (France),
Ecole d'Avignon (France),
Escola Superior Gallaecia (Portugal),
Universita degli studi di Firenze Facolta di Architettura (Italy),
Universidad Politecnica de Valencia Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura (Spain).
