Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau son dos de los artistas más reconocidos e innovadores dentro del panorama internacional del media art y el arte interactivo. Su obra desarrolla de forma natural e intuitiva interfaces interactivas que aplican principios de la teoría de sistemas vivos relacionados con la ecología, la vida artificial y las ciencias de la complejidad.
«Sistemes vivos. Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau» es la primera exposición retrospectiva de esta pareja artística. Ofrece la posibilidad de experimentar de forma participativa con sus piezas más vinculadas al estudio de los sistemas vivos: Eau de Jardin, Phototropy, LifeSpacies II, Mobile Feelings y A-Volve. El investigador de sistemas complejos Ricard Solé colabora en el despliegue del vocabulario científico necesario para comprender los ecosistemas virtuales de los artistas. Un conjunto de actividades y talleres permiten adentrarse aún más en el comportamiento de los sistemas vivos donde los seres que los configuran interactúan entre sí y con el entorno.
